What is the SRP?

The Seoul Research Program is an intensive, in-person research experience conducted over two weeks in Seoul. This program provides students with 50 hours of guided research sessions with expert mentors, focusing on the fundamentals of academic research and paper writing. Through a structured environment, students gain their first deep dive into research, preparing them for more advanced academic work.

Program Timeline

In-person: July 28 – August 7, 2025 (10 days, excluding Sunday)
Online: August 8 – September 7, 2025 (Final paper submission)

Step 1: Drafting Your Research Proposal

Learn the fundamentals of research and define your own topic. You will develop your paper’s structure, research questions, and data collection methods, guided by one-on-one meetings with your professor.

Step 2: Writing and Receiving Feedback on Your Draft

Based on experiments or literature analysis, you’ll begin writing your paper. With guidance from professors and mentors, you’ll develop your introduction, body, and conclusion—then refine them through detailed feedback.

Step 3: Finalizing and Presenting Your Paper

Revise your paper and prepare for submission. You'll present your research in a formal setting, participate in Q&A sessions, and enhance your presentation skills through feedback from professors and peers.
